Joe Nuccio (bass/vocals) and Mark Bennardo (percussion/vocals) deliver non-stop entertainment playing along with the best backing tracks available.

Sudden Left Turn was formed in 2008 to provide affordable, top-notch entertainment that encompasses the whole spectrum of music tastes and styles.

The objective was to provide the versaltility of a DJ, the personal touch of a live performance, and the sound of a full band. Performing as a duo along with high-quality backing tracks makes all of this feasible. What sets Sudden Left Turn apart from other duos is the use of bass guitar and percussion, instead of acoustic guitars. The result is music that is inheritantly more powerful and engaging, with the volume always under control as dictated by the client.

Both Joe Nuccio and Mark Bennardo have extensive stage and MC experience to comfortably direct and entertain any event.

Performance costs are determined on a per client basis, but here are the general guidelines:

Bars, Clubs, Restaurants: ~$100/hr

Private Parties: ~$150/hr

Senior Centers: ~$250/hr

Special Events: ~$300/hr

Corporate Events: ~$400/hr

Why the price difference?

• Most public places let us play whatever we want and also collect tips, with minimal prep work.

• Private parties require more prep & research, i.e. location, outlets, special requests, etc.

• Senior Centers require a pre-planned show, more performace material, and MC work.

• Special Events, like weddings, etc., require a lot of prep, MC work, and coordination.

• Corporate Events require a very strict script, along with MC work by us and the executives.

Other pricing factors include: duration over/under 3 hrs, distance to event, time to setup/teardown, event access limitations, extra equipment or personnel needed, and various additional event expenses, such as parking, etc.

A typical event encompasses up to 7 hrs: travel(2), setup/teardown(2), performance(3)
